Lahore, In a strategic meeting at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of revenue generation, tasking all PCB directors with formulating effective financial strategies.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the gathering aimed to scrutinize and enhance the PCB’s revenue avenues, with all department directors presenting status reports to Chairman Naqvi. The session also tackled promotional tactics for the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) and deliberated the introduction of a Women’s T20 League in Pakistan, marking significant steps toward broadening the cricketing landscape in the nation.

In his discourse with the PCB’s Commercial and Marketing Directors, Chairman Naqvi outlined his expectation for a robust revenue plan, highlighting the necessity of financial growth to sustain and advance cricket in Pakistan. The meeting further addressed the conceptualization of a Women’s T20 League, aligning with the format of the successful HBL PSL, and the enhancement of training infrastructure to international standards.
