According to the Free and Fair Election Network, these figures are based on electoral roll statistics released by the Election Commission of Pakistan on December 30, 2025, and cross-referenced with population estimates from the 2023 Digital Census. Mandi Bahauddin's estimated population for 2025 is 1,915,734, calculated using a 2.33% annual growth rate from the 2023 census of 1,829,486. The district boasts 1.3 million registered voters, with males representing 52.9% and females 47.1% of the electorate.

Mandi Bahauddin ranks fifth nationally in voter registration rate and fourth within Punjab, out of 36 districts. This high registration rate is attributed to unique census rules. Absent household members were not included at their home address, and those residing elsewhere were recorded at their current location, leading to a smaller population denominator. Many residents work in major urban centers but remain registered in Mandi Bahauddin based on their permanent CNIC address.

The district's female voter registration stands at 47.1%, indicating a moderate gender gap of 5.8%. While overall registration rates are strong, ongoing efforts to promote equitable female voter registration are crucial.
