Haripur, A seminar focusing on Thalassemia awareness was recently held at the University of Haripur, organized by the YUP Society in partnership with the Dard e Insaniyat Welfare Foundation. The event aimed to enlighten the university’s community, including students, faculty members, and distinguished guests, about Thalassemia, its challenges, and the critical importance of early detection and management.

According to The University of Haripur, the seminar featured Dr. Muhaimin, an Assistant Professor at the University, and Mr. Zafran from Foat Kids Head Diwd as the keynote speakers. They shared in-depth knowledge on the impact of Thalassemia on affected individuals and stressed the necessity of prompt and appropriate intervention to manage the disease.

Dr. Fayaz Khan Khatak, the Head of the Department of Physics, also addressed the attendees, urging students to take an active role in organizing and participating in seminars and activities aimed at societal improvement. The seminar underscored the value of collective action and the sharing of information to combat health challenges like Thalassemia effectively.
