University of Sindh Hosts Energetic Annual Sports Gala

Jamshoro, The Institute of English Language and Literature at the University of Sindh launched its annual two-day sports gala in Jamshoro, drawing hundreds of students to the Hyder Bakhsh Jatoi Pavilion for a celebration of athletics and camaraderie. The event, attended by faculty and students alike, featured a variety of sports competitions, including marathon races, cricket, table tennis, badminton, chess, and tug of war, showcasing the enthusiasm and athletic skills of the participants.

According to University of Sindh, the gala was graced by the presence of notable university figures such as Vice-Chancellor Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Dean Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Muhammad Khan Sangi, and Director of the Institute of English Language and Literature Professor Dr. Abdul Fattah Soomro, among others. The event not only highlighted the athletic talents of the students but also emphasized the importance of sports in fostering a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

In his address at the opening ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kalhoro highlighted the critical role of sports in societal improvement and the overall well-being of students.
