Islamabad, The leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), including former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which resulted in the death of a senior police officer. The attack underscores the ongoing challenge of terrorism in the region.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, both Zardari and Bhutto Zardari emphasized the urgent need to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan and to ensure that all perpetrators are brought to justice. They highlighted the National Action Plan as a crucial strategy in the fight against terrorism, calling for its strict implementation.
The PPP leaders paid tribute to the bravery of the martyred Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) Aijaz Khan Sherpao, acknowledging his sacrifice for the nation’s safety. They extended their condolences to the family of the martyr, underlining the loss as not only a tragedy for the bereaved family but also for the country.
