UVAS Partners with UM Enterprises for Senior Management Capacity Building

Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, has entered into a partnership with UM Enterprises, formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU), aimed at facilitating capacity building for the senior management and leadership team of UM Enterprises. This collaboration will encompass a range of activities including trainings, workshops, conferences, seminars, and other related capacity-building initiatives, designed to enhance professional competencies.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the MoU signing ceremony was held at the City Campus, with Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman, Dean Faculty of Biosciences at UVAS, and Ammar Malik, Business Head at UM Enterprises, officiating the agreement. The event was also attended by prominent figures such as Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Chairman Department of Parasitology, Dr Muhammad Asif Awan, Director Veterinary Academy, along with other administrative officers and officials from UM Enterprises.

Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman, speaking at the ceremony, expressed gratitude towards UM Enterprises for selecting UVAS as their partner for conducting various training programs aimed at bolstering the capabilities of their senior leadership and management staff. The agreement outlines that UVAS will extend its facilities—including training modules, resource personnel, rooms, classrooms, meeting and seminar rooms, and auditoriums—to ensure the seamless execution of the planned activities at its Veterinary Academy.

This partnership signifies a pivotal step towards fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the academic and corporate sectors, aiming to enrich the skill sets of professionals at UM Enterprises.
