Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for its Level 1 Cricket Coaching Course, which includes former Test fast bowler Fazal-e-Akbar among the 30 participants. The four-day course is set to be held at Islamia College in Peshawar from January 8 to 11.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the course at Peshawar is just the beginning, with two more Level 1 coaching courses planned later in the month in Rawalpindi and Karachi. The Pindi Cricket Stadium will host the course from January 14 to 17, and the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi will conduct the course from January 19 to 22.
The Level 1 course is designed to cover the fundamentals of coaching skills, including communication, coaching philosophy, planning, and preparation. High Performance coaches Shahid Mahboob, Mauhtashim Rashid, and Taimoor Azam will lead the course in Peshawar.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have three months to complete their assignments, after which successful candidates will be awarded Level 1 coaching certificates. The list of participants includes a diverse group from various regions, such as Peshawar, Hangu, FATA, Abbottabad, and Nowshera.
