Karachi, Faryal Talpur, the Central President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Women’s Wing, has commemorated Quaid-e-Awam, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his 96th birth anniversary with a heartfelt tribute.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, Talpur in her tribute described Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto as a symbol of hope for the oppressed, marginalized, and deprived communities. She emphasized Bhutto’s enduring legacy and his fight against dictatorship, which continues to be revered by the people of Pakistan.

Talpur also connected the upcoming general elections on February 8 to the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, highlighting them as a pivotal moment in furthering his mission. She stressed the importance of supporting Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in efforts to guide Pakistan through current challenges such as inflation, unemployment, and poverty, towards a future marked by prosperity, development, and equality.

The remembrance and call to action serve as a reminder of the PPP’s commitment to its founding principles and the vision of its revered leader, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Rawalpindi, Under the auspices of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Siddiq Akbar Day was celebrated nationwide in remembrance of the first Khalifa, Ameerul Momineen, Syed Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA). The day marked the passing of the esteemed figure and was commemorated with various events across major cities in Pakistan.

According to Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, the day was observed with rallies, seminars, and conferences in cities like Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Muzaffarabad. Scholars and mashaikhs affiliated with the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Ulema Board highlighted the virtues and merits of Hazrat Syedna Siddique Akbar in their Friday sermons. Muhammad Shadab Raza Naqshbandi, head of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, emphasized the life of Hazrat Siddiq Akbar RA as one of self-sacrifice and devotion. He urged the public to prioritize ideas over personalities in elections and stressed the caretaker government and Election Commission’s responsibility in ensuring transparent elections.

The leaders of the movement, including Allama Attaur Rahman Dhaniyal, Dr. Muhammad Tayyab Raza, Engineer Sheikh Najam Al Thaqib Qadri, and others, spoke about the significant role of Hazrat Sayyidna Siddique Akbar as a devoted companion of Prophet Muhammad. They noted his foundational efforts in the Movement of the End of Prophethood, countering false claims of prophethood during his caliphate.

The speakers also expressed concerns over the increasing apostate activities of the Qadiani lobby and emphasized the need to follow the teachings of Sayyedna Siddiq Akbar (RA) to protect the belief in the end of Prophethood. They called for spreading the bright teachings of Sayyidna Siddiq Akbar (RA) at the official level to counter hatred, prejudice, and intolerance in the country.
