Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has called upon party leaders and workers to prepare for the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8. This announcement was made during a significant meeting of the party’s Balochistan Chapter at Bilawal House.
According to Pakistan People’s Party, the meeting, chaired by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, also had Faryal Talpur, Central President of PPP Women’s Wing, in attendance. The party discussed various strategies and plans for the upcoming elections, including the celebration of the party’s 56th Foundation Day with a public gathering in Quetta on November 30.
Chairman Zardari expressed confidence in the PPP’s electoral prospects in Balochistan, highlighting the party’s historical efforts and contributions to the region’s development, from ‘Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan’ to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiatives. He emphasized that the PPP has always prioritized the needs of Balochistan and anticipated positive results in the upcoming elections, reflecting the region’s support for the party.
The meeting also focused on the political and organizational landscape of Balochistan and the party’s public contact campaign for the general elections. PPP Balochistan leaders shared their insights and suggestions for the election campaign.
Prominent party figures, including Mir Changez Khan Jamali, Rozi Khan Kakar, and Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, were among the attendees. The participation of such key leaders indicates the party’s concerted effort to solidify its presence and influence in Balochistan ahead of the elections.
