LAHORE, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore has forged a partnership with ASAL Innovations Private Limited to enhance training opportunities for its staff, faculty, and students through a series of workshops, seminars, and conferences.
According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), the memorandum of understanding signed between UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad and CEO of ASAL Innovations Mr. Nehal Aslam, establishes a framework for both entities to cooperate in the organization of training events aimed at building the capacity of their respective teams. The signing ceremony was attended by notable members of both institutions, including Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Prof Dr Muhammad Azam, Mr. Rizwan Saleem, and Dr. Muhammad Asif Awan from UVAS, along with officials from ASAL Innovations.
Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad underscored the anticipated benefits of the MoU, highlighting the potential for improving professional competencies and sharing innovative ideas in information technology. Malik Asad Nadeem Awan of ASAL Innovations elaborated on the training modalities and the goals of the collaboration.
The agreement stipulates that UVAS will provide necessary facilities such as classrooms, seminar rooms, hostel accommodations, and auditoriums within its Veterinary Academy. Both institutions expect to benefit from shared knowledge and experiences in the field of information technology as a result of this partnership.
