Islamabad, The Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan, Ali Mardan Khan Domki, has made a notable contribution to the University of Turbat’s Public Library during his visit to the institution’s Faculty of Law at the City Campus on October 23.
According to a news release by University of Turbat, Ali Mardan Khan Domki, while reviewing facilities at the University Public Library in the City Campus, presented a donation of three hundred books to the University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad. These books were given courtesy of the Chinese Embassy. The gesture underscores the importance of academic development and international collaboration in bolstering educational resources.
Upon his arrival, the Caretaker Chief Minister was warmly greeted by Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Dr. Gul Hasan, Dean Faculty of Law, Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, and other faculty members of the Law Faculty. The leadership team of the university briefed the Caretaker Chief Minister about various facets of the institution, encompassing academic achievements, research endeavors, infrastructure advancements, and challenges faced.
During his visit, Ali Mardan Khan Domki took an active interest in the students’ well-being. He not only visited classrooms within the Law Faculty, engaging in dialogues with the students about their academic concerns but also responded positively to their requests by promising to arrange a study tour.
His commitment to the institution’s growth was further displayed when he visited the IT lab, reviewing facilities provided for both male and female students. In addition, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation, the Caretaker Chief Minister inaugurated a plantation drive by planting a sapling on the grounds of the City Campus.
