Islamabad, The Department of Chemistry at UET Lahore has announced an opening for a Research Associate position to contribute to a key project centered around water purification and desalination membranes.

According to a news release by University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, the role calls for a fresh PhD holder, equivalent in rank to an Assistant Professor. The selected individual will work on the project funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) under the TTSF initiative. The project, referenced as 20-TTSF-196, is titled “Indigenous Technology Development for Pilot Scale Production of Water Purification and Desalination Membranes.” The position is initially for one year, starting from 09 October 2023, but can be extended to two years based on performance, with a slated completion date of 30 September 2024.

Prospective candidates are required to submit their applications by 07 November 2023, with a cutoff time of 3:00 PM. Submissions should be made to the Admin Office of the Department of Chemistry at UET Lahore’s Main Campus. Along with the application, individuals must include their registration card, attested copies of degrees or DMCs, and a resume.
