Karachi, September 26, 2023 (PPI-OT): Indus Yaqeen, the youth empowerment program within Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN), organized a highly successful Bake Sale at Dolmen Mall, Clifton, Karachi, from September 22 to 24, 2023. This event was executed with the enthusiastic support of student volunteers and helped raise funds for pediatric cancer patients at IHHN.

The Bake Sale drew an impressive crowd of supporters who indulged in an array of delicious homemade treats, including brownies, cupcakes, dessert cups, sandwiches, pizzas, macarons, pasta, and more.

Every purchase made at the event contributed to the noble cause and helped raise awareness of IHHN’s humanitarian mission.

The youth volunteers also took proactive steps to raise awareness about IHHN, reaching out to mall-goers and encouraging them to visit the sale to support children in need. This tireless dedication to spreading the word proved to be instrumental in the event’s success.

Adding star power to the Bake Sale, Pakistani celebrities and proud IHHN ambassadors, including Sania Saeed, Behroze Sabzwari, and Adeel Hussain, made special appearances to endorse the cause.

Over 140 students from prestigious schools across Karachi, including Dawood Public School, Haque Academy, Reflection School, Generation School, MiTE University, NED University, Bayview Academy, DHACSS, Foundation Public School, Beacon House, CAS, and Indus Academy, actively participated. Notably, students from Kiran Foundation, a not-for-profit school for underprivileged children, also joined hands in the Bake Sale.

Aligned with the mission of Indus Yaqeen, this event not only aimed to raise funds but also to empower youth and provide them with the opportunity to effect positive change in the lives of those in need.

Throughout the Bake Sale, the young volunteers generously donated their time and resources to help children in need. In doing so, they realized the power they held in making a difference and understood the significance of community work in uplifting society as a whole.
