Bahawalpur, September 23, 2023 (PPI-OT):Bahawalpur (PR) on the direction of Higher Education Commission, Islamia University Bahawalpur is celebrating Ushra Shan Rehmatul Ul Alameen. In this regard, inter-faculty competitions, recitations and recitations and special seminars are being organized.

On the auspicious beginning of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor of Islamia University, Bahawalpur, has said in his message to the teachers and students that as soon as the auspicious month of Rabi-ul-Awwal begins, the Muslims of the whole world should come together with enthusiasm. In celebration of the birth of Sarwar Kun and Makan (Peace Be upon Him), special gatherings of Duroodussalam are organized throughout the Islamic world and celebrate Milad-ul-Nabi (Peace Be upon Him). History shows that in the 6th century AD, the moral, spiritual and political condition of the people of the world had reached an extreme level and there was a period of cruelty, polytheism, ignorance, hypocrisy and rebellion everywhere.

The teachings of all the previous prophets (peace be upon them) have been hidden in the dark veils of disbelief were in such circumstances, the Lord of the Worlds raised this Siraj Muneer (peace be upon him) to turn the darkness of the Valley of Batah and the entire world into light, knowledge, guidance, intuition and mysticism, which enlightened the whole world. Like other Prophets, the Messenger of God was not sent to specific languages, specific places and specific nations; rather he was sent to all times and all places, but to all worlds and creations. Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) is the last prophet and after him, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala ended the chain of prophethood. Therefore, it has been proven that the message of the Holy Prophet, i.e. the Holy Qur’an and the Sharia, will remain for the rest of the world. The favorite prayer of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) for every Muslim teacher and learner is “Rab Zdni Ulama” meaning O Lord, increase my knowledge. With this prayer, every Muslim gets a lesson about the importance of acquiring knowledge in Islam.

There are several hadiths of the Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) in which both men and women are urged to get education. Today, the Muslim Ummah is only this it can develop if education is included in the top priorities and full attention is given to religious studies as well as social and scientific studies. As during the period of the rise of Islam, Muslims were unique in all sciences and arts and ruled the world. The development and stability of our dear country Pakistan lies in education. Jamia Islamia is the largest historical educational institution of South Punjab, which was established on the model of Jamia Al-Azhar. The Sirat Chair established in the Faculty of Islamic Learning is carrying out the duty of research and compilation on Sirat Tayyaba in a very active manner.

Seven international conferences have also been organized in this regard. Today, the world of Islam should renew the promise on the birthday of Holy Prophet (PBUH) that we will follow this path and make the Sunnah of Holy Prophet (PBUH) alive. May Allah grant us the fiqh so that we live according to the will of Allah and His Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) and follow the teachings of Islam and the Quran.
