Islamabad, July 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): The current budget figures reflect the continued misguided policies that have led to the worst economic and social situation in Pakistan. This situation arose because of the highly questionable policy of the State Bank, which maintains such high interest rates in the name of controlling inflation. This policy has not only failed to curb inflation but has resulted in huge wastage of precious government funds.
