LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore's Scouts Club and Directorate of Student Affairs organized an awareness session focused on traffic laws and anti-beggary on Monday. The session featured a lecture by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Syed Abdul Rehim Sherazi, who discussed traffic regulations, road safety, and the social impact of beggary. He emphasized the prevention of accidents through adherence to traffic laws and encouraged students to promote awareness of these laws within society.
According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the session aimed to educate attendees on the importance of road safety protocols. CTO Sherazi urged students to drive carefully and responsibly to save lives. In addition, a traffic police mobile service was available to assist university faculty, employees, and students with the issuance and renewal of driving licenses. Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
