Islamabad, August 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): Gallup Pakistan as part of its regular analysis of economic and social data is looking to initiate an insightful discussion on the topic of Polling Research on Perceptions India-Pakistan relations. The data pertain to 40 years of polling work, and the report is divided into six sections.
What data points does this cover?
This document has six sections; the first discusses opinions on the possibility of war between India and Pakistan. Sections on the Kashmir conflict, terrorism, and nuclear weapons are then included. General opinions of Pakistanis about India-Pakistan ties are presented in the final section. A section about the survey methodology is then included after this. The results presented here are from multiple nationwide household surveys carried out by Gallup Pakistan over the last four decades (1980-2018). However, caution should be taken in interpreting results in comparative sections of the report. The purpose of having comparative data is to show a broad trend in timeline rather than providing a statistical difference in opinions.
