Jamshoro, February 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):Sindh University Jamshoro hockey team defeated Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur by 3 goals to one and qualified for the final scheduled in Peshawar. According to the details, the team of Sindh University defeated the hockey team of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur by 3 goals to one in the semi-final of All Pakistan Inter-University Hockey Tournament Zone K. The hockey team of Sindh University entered the field to play the match under the leadership of Captain Zakir Hussain.

Mir Muslim Jatoi, a student of Sindh University Larkana Campus, scored 2 goals and changed the direction of the match, while the last goal was scored by Ali Dad. Bahawalpur, February 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob has said that Bahawalpur Trade Fair will soon take the form of an international event. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views while addressing the closing ceremony of the 4th Bahawalpur Trade Fair organized by Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Islamia University Bahawalpur and district administration on the occasion of 18th Cholistan International Desert Jeep Rally.

3rd International Conference of Political Science on Public Policy and Good Governance in the Contemporary Age 

Bahawalpur, February 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):The third international conference titled Public Policy and Good Governance in the present era has started under the auspices of the Department of Political Science, Islamia University, Bahawalpur. The conference was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Professor Dr. Mansoor Akbar Kundi, former Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan Professor Dr. Khawaja Alkamah, Director of Faculty of Public Policy Rafa International University Islamabad Dr. Rashid Aftab were specially present.

HBL PSL 8: Qalandars and Zalmi fined for slow over-rate 

Lahore, February 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):Peshawar Zalmi were fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during their two-run victory over Karachi Kings in the second match of the HBL Pakistan Super League 8 at the National Bank Cricket Arena on Tuesday. Peshawar Zalmi were ruled to be one over short of their target by match referee Ali Naqvi, who took into consideration time allowances before arriving at the decision.

As such, and in accordance with Article 2.22 of the HBL PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, each player was fined 10 per cent of his match fee. Meanwhile, each member of the Lahore Qalandars side was also fined 10 per cent of his match fee after their side was one over short during their one-run victory over Multan Sultans in the opener on Monday.

Islamabad, February 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 3 in 5 (59%) Pakistanis have read or heard of Malaria Control Program.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the following as a follow up question, “Have you read or heard of the following regarding health anywhere? – Malaria Control Program?” 59% responded yes while 41% said no.
