2-Days National Workshop on ‘Small Animal Diagnostic Ultrasonography’ concludes at UVAS

Lahore, January 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore arranged two-days National Workshop on ‘Small Animal Diagnostic Ultrasonography’ at UVAS Veterinary Academy.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad presided over the inaugural session of the workshop while Dean Faculty of Biosciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman chaired the concluding ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants while Prof Dr Asim Khalid Mehmood, Dr Shehla Gul Bokhari, Dr Zahid Tahir, Dr Zia ullah Mughal and a number of participants from different institutions from all over the country were present.

During two-day workshop experts delivered their lectures on the topic of small animal diagnostic ultrasonography (past, present, future), basic anatomy and imaging techniques for gastrointestinal system, urinary system, reproductive system, ultrasound diagnosis of gastrointestinal disease, urinary tract disease and reproductive tract disease etc. The aims of the hands-on training were to enable the participants to correctly acquire and interpret ultrasound images of the abdominal and reproductive organ.

4 in 5 parents are satisfied with teachers at their child’s school: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, January 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 4 in 5 parents are satisfied with teachers at their child’s school.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women who smoke from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “On a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is “very bad” and 5 is “very good”, how would you rank each of the following services provided to your child by their school? – Availability of good teachers” 5% said it is very bad, 6% said it is bad, 10% said the availability of good teachers is average, 48% said that this service is good while 31% said that it is very good.

Question: “On a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is “very bad” and 5 is “very good”, how would you rank each of the following services provided to your child by their school? – Availability of good teachers”
