Lahore, In the ongoing 18th National Women’s Baseball Championship at FC College, Lahore, the Pakistan WAPDA and Punjab teams emerged victorious in their respective matches, marking significant wins in the tournament. The championship, organized by the Pakistan Federation Baseball, features teams from four provinces, Islamabad, the Pakistan Army, Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Police, and HEC, with the Pakistan Army team defending its title.
According to Pakistan Federation Baseball, the third day of the championship saw two matches where Pakistan WAPDA overcame the HEC team with a striking score of 17-6, and the Punjab team secured a win against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team by 5-0. In the match between WAPDA and HEC, standout performances came from Iqra Nawaz of WAPDA, who scored 3 runs, and Mah Noor from the HEC side, who managed to score 2 runs. The Punjab team’s victory was a collective effort with Allie, Samra, Nida, Sana, and Hina each contributing one run towards their 5-0 win over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
