Islamabad, September 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):Professor. Dr. N. B. Jumani, Vice President Administration and Finance visited the hostels at male campus and reviewed overall situation. He was briefed by Dr. Abrar Anver, Provost, about observance of SOPs, mess facility and overall living standard. The Vice President A and F desired that students shall not face any problem and their facilitation must be given top priority.
He also directed that pandemic SOPs must be strictly implemented. He also reviewed situation of cleanliness, hygiene, electrical and gardening. He also met with the students and listened to their problems. He conveyed that IIU President has directed all the concerned to solve issues of students on priority and provide them an ideal living environment. He also checked maintenance registers, availability of staff and mess facility at the hostels.
Later, he also visited the sports office of the Directorate of students Affairs at the activity centre. He was briefed by Dr. Tauqeer Sargana, Students Advisor, about the semester sports activities calendar, recently managed indoor facilities, available resources, future objectives and preparations for the recently approved sports academy for the university.
Appreciating the arrangements Vice President AF and P said that such facilities are the prerequisites for a health learning environment. He also desired that as per briefing fitness activities shall also start soon at the facility. Dr. N.B. Jumani said that Worthy President IIU has always stressed upon the importance of sports on campus and he has desired to provide maximum sports resources and facilities to the students. He hoped that soon sports competition would return back on campus once the pandemic is over.
