Turbat, The Law Department of the University of Turbat, in conjunction with the UoT Law Society, organized a national youth conference on “The Role of Legal Fraternity in Conflict Management” on March 7, 2024. The event, which highlighted the crucial part lawyers play in managing conflicts, welcomed Assistant District Attorney Ehsan Barkat as the Chief Guest. The conference also saw the participation of the President of the Kech Bar Association and members of the Mekran Bar Association among its attendees.
According to University of Turbat, the conference aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the legal profession’s pivotal role in conflict resolution and management. Assistant Professor Mehmood Amir, serving as the focal person of the Law Society, extended his appreciation to the speakers, faculty members, guests, and students for their enthusiastic involvement in the conference. The gathering served as a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas on enhancing the legal community’s contribution to peaceful conflict resolution.
