Jamshoro, The University of Sindh in Jamshoro recently celebrated the return of Dr. Shazia Shaikh, a faculty member of the Department of Media and Communication Studies, following her successful completion of a post-doctoral fellowship at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Dr. Shaikh was warmly received by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, who expressed his congratulations and high expectations for her future contributions to academia and research.

According to University of Sindh, Dr. Shazia Shaikh met with Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro to discuss her academic achievements and the insights gained during her fellowship, which lasted from July 1, 2022, to March 16, 2023. The Vice Chancellor praised Dr. Shaikh for her dedication and success in completing her post-doctoral program, emphasizing the university’s anticipation of her enhanced role in advancing research and teaching within the field of media and communication studies. During the meeting, Dr. Shaikh showcased her completion certificate and shared her experiences of working under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Bahiya Omar at the School of Communication.
