International Islamic University Islamabad Leaders Extend Ramadan Greetings to Global Muslim Community

Islamabad, International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) Rector Dr. Samina Malik and President Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi have extended their greetings for a blessed and peaceful Ramadan to Muslims in Pakistan and worldwide. Their joint message emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a time for peace, patience, and virtue, highlighting its role in addressing societal issues and fostering personal and communal growth.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the IIUI leaders called on Muslim youth to promote the peaceful teachings of Islam during this holy month. They underlined the importance of fasting in cultivating patience, virtue, and tranquility, viewing Ramadan as a prime opportunity for spiritual and moral reflection. The message emphasized the need for empathy and support toward the less fortunate, stressing that the holy month should prioritize aid for the poor, ill, and helpless. Dr. Malik and Dr. Alotaibi advocated for the practice of patience, self-control, and ethical behavior, alongside emphasizing the significance of Zakat distribution to promote economic equality.
