Islamabad, The University of Haripur took a significant step in fostering industry-academia collaboration by participating in a workshop organized by the British Council and KPEZDMC. The event, held at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, led to the formation of the Industry Academia Task Group (IATG) and the development of a collective future strategy.
According to The University of Haripur, brought together experts from the British Council, industry representatives, and academic institutions, including The University of Haripur and the Pak-Austria Institute of Applied Sciences, TEVTA Haripur. Dr. Muhammad Jahangir provided an overview of “The Academia Collaboration Centre established by the University of Haripur” at Hattar Industrial Estate, which was well-received by the attendees. The closing session was presided over by Vice Chancellor University of Haripur Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman and attended by Registrar Riaz Muhammad. The event marked a milestone in bridging the gap between academia and industry, promising enhanced collaboration for future developments.
