Lahore, The Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Central Punjab organized an industrial visit for its F-21 batch of students to the Punjab Mass Transit Authority’s Orange Line Metro Depot. This educational tour offered a group of 43 students and 3 faculty and staff members a practical learning experience about the maintenance processes of the Orange Line metro train.
According to University of Central Punjab, the visit provided the students with an opportunity to observe firsthand the maintenance techniques and processes used for the Orange Line metro train. They received detailed briefings on how the maintenance is conducted using state-of-the-art tools and equipment. The students were able to interact with highly qualified engineers and workers, gaining insights into the technical and practical aspects of metro train maintenance.
