Lahore, July 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistani Athletes participated today in Badminton and Shooting Competitions.
Badminton – Mahoor Shahzad lost to World No. 4 YAMAGUCHI Akane from Japan. She lost in straight sets. 21-3, 21-8.
She is playing next match on 27th July at 1400 hours (JST) / 1000 hours (PST) against England.
Shooting – Gulfam Joseph achieves 9th Position in 10M Air Pistol Olympic Qualification. First 8 shooters competed Finals. He was tied with No. 7 and 8 with the same score of 578/600. It is a great achievement from someone competing in his 3rd International Competition. Hard Luck to miss Finals on tie with 2 other shooters on the same score.
