Rawalpindi, The head of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria Pakistan, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqdisi, has called for spreading the message of love as taught by Sakhi Shahbaz Qalandar to foster global peace. This statement was made during the annual commemoration of Hazrat Sakhi Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, which draws pilgrims from around the world. Muqdisi highlighted the need for adherence to religious teachings and patriotism, especially in the context of Pakistan’s challenges as a nuclear power.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Agha Maqdisi’s message emphasized that the remedy for humanity’s sufferings lies in embracing the teachings of love and poverty, as exemplified by Shahbaz Qalandar. He advocated for a society that prioritizes human values over enmity and division, irrespective of religious and creedal differences. The annual funeral of Hazrat Sakhi Lal Shahbaz Qalandar served as a platform to reiterate these values, with participants from various parts of the globe.
Agha Makdisi also underscored the importance of Islamic and national identity in overcoming adversities faced by Pakistan, particularly those stemming from its status as a nuclear power. He called for unity among patriotic forces to counter anti-Islamic elements and stressed the necessity of transforming Pakistan into a welfare Islamic state, drawing inspiration from the principles of Hussain Ibn Ali.
The main mourning procession in Rawalpindi featured leaders and members of the TNFJ, including Allama Ghulam Raza Qazi and Ali Ajood Naqvi, among others. The event was marked by speeches, sermons, and prayers for the stability and security of Pakistan. Special arrangements were made by the Sindh government and district administration to support the pilgrims, including medical camps and first aid services.
This annual commemoration not only honors the legacy of Hazrat Shahbaz Qalandar but also reinforces the TNFJ’s commitment to promoting peace, love, and national unity in the face of challenges.
