Almost 1 in 5 Pakistani’s eat fruit every day in a week while 14% do not eat fruit at all: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, November 04, 2022 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, almost 1 in 5 Pakistani’s eat fruit every day while 14% do not eat fruit at all.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “Usually how often in a week do you eat fruits?” 14% said 0 times, 45% said 1 to 3 times, 14% said 4-6 times, and 23% said 7 times.

Question: “Usually how often in a week do you eat fruits?”

Islamabad, November 03, 2022 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, more than 50% of Pakistan’s drink fizzy drinks either every day or few days in a week

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “How regularly do you drink fizzy drinks?” 17% responded every day, 36% said few days in a week, 23% said once in a week, 22% said once in a month while 2% said once in a year.

Islamabad, November 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, less than half of Pakistani’s (36%) take part in any work at least once a week that causes them heavy sweating.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “Did you do any work at least once a week that caused you heavy sweating, or made you beat very fast?” 36% said yes while 64% responded no.

Islamabad, November 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, more than one-third of Pakistani’s (37%) report that most of their daily chores require working while sitting. Another one-third (32%) fulfilled their daily chores while standing. Almost a quarter (24%) partake in physical labour as part of their daily chores.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “Which one of the options matches your exercise and workout during your daily chores?” 37% responded that they work while sitting, 32% said that they work while standing, 24% said they do physical labour, and 6% do very strenuous physical labour.

Almost 80% Pakistani’s report that they have not been taking any medicine nowadays. Out of the ones who do, Panadol and Tenormin were revealed to be the most common medicines people take: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, October 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, almost 80% report that they have not been taking any medicine nowadays. Out of the ones who do, Panadol and Tenormin were revealed to be the most common medicines people take.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “Are you taking any type of medicine nowadays?” 17% said yes while 83% responded no.

The respondents who responded yes were asked a follow up question: “If yes, which medicine?” 4% responded Panadol and Tenormin, 3% responded homeopathic, blood pressure medicine, insulin medicine and multivitamins while 1% responded that they had taken arinac.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “Have you heard any ‘Podcast’?” 96% said ‘No,’ while only 3% said ‘Yes’ and 1% responded ‘Don’t know’
