Sunni Tehreek Leader Stresses on Constitutional Supremacy and Ideological Purity

Rawalpindi, Muhammad Shahid Ghori, a senior central leader of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, has firmly stated that any compromise on Pakistan’s ideological foundations is unacceptable. During a ceremony at the shrine of Ghazi Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri commemorating his martyrdom, Ghori emphasized the importance of adhering to the principles of Nizam Mustafa for the protection of the country’s ideological and geographical boundaries.

According to Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Ghori articulated a vision where the supremacy of the Constitution and the implementation of Nizam Mustafa are pivotal for safeguarding the nation’s core values. He declared love for Ghazi Mumtaz Hussain Qadri as a matter of faith, venerating him as a hero for the entire Muslim Ummah. Ghori’s speech underscored the sentiment that the followers of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would continue to honor Ghazi Mumtaz Hussain Qadri Shaheed until the Day of Resurrection.

The ceremony attracted notable figures, including Allama Attaur Rahman Dhaniyal, Pir of Gulshanabad Sharif Pir Sarkarji, and leaders from various religious and civic sectors, reflecting a broad support base. A united stance against secular forces aiming to undermine Islamic identity and values was a key theme, with Ghori asserting that attempts to establish a “mother-father-free society” would be met with staunch resistance.

The event also served as a platform for reiterating the commitment to a constitutional and legal struggle for the protection of the Prophet and the belief in the finality of prophethood. Special prayers for the country’s security and stability highlighted the gathering’s solemnity, marking a significant moment of reflection for participants and the broader community.

This declaration from a senior leader of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek encapsulates the ongoing dialogue within Pakistan about the balance between religious convictions and the constitutional mandate, emphasizing the role of faith in the public and political realms.
