Karachi, February 09, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Secretary General of Pakistan People’s Party, Syed Nair Hussain Bukhari, expressed the confidence of the voters in the success of the newly elected officials of Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists, President Abid Abbasi, General Secretary Tariq Ali Work and Finance Secretary Kashan Akmal Gul, Senior Vice President Chaudhry Shahid Ajmal and others.
He said that the creation of a wage board for the protection of the rights of journalists and union formation is the achievement of the People’s Party. Nir Bukhari has expressed hope that the newly elected officials of RIUJ will play an important role in protecting the freedom of expression and solving the problems of journalists. Through relations, efforts will be made for the improvement of the institutions and the welfare of the workers.
