Registrar Office Circular Regarding Closure on September 17, 2024 for Eid Milad-un-Nabi Celebrations

Haripur: The University of Haripur announced it will close on September 17, 2024, in observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, which marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. The decision was taken with the approval of the university’s Vice Chancellor and aims to honor the religious significance of the day corresponding to the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal of the Islamic year 1446 AH.

According to The University of Haripur, the closure is communicated through a circular intended for internal and public notice. This notification serves to inform students, faculty, and staff in advance, ensuring all academic and administrative planning accommodates the holiday closure. Copies of the circular have been distributed to all Deans, Chairpersons, and Sectional Heads, with instructions for the webmaster to update the university website accordingly.

The circular also specifies that routine operations will resume following the holiday, with the university community returning to regular activities. This planned closure reflects the university’s respect for cultural and religious traditions, fostering an inclusive academic environment.
