Rawalpindi, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqdisi, leader of the Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqah Jafaria Pakistan, marked Takbeer Day with a strong message of unity and resilience, emphasizing the critical role of nuclear capability in safeguarding the nation’s security against external threats.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Allama Muqdisi’s address highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s nuclear response to India in 1998, asserting that the nation’s nuclear prowess has effectively deterred external aggressions and brought pride to the Islamic world. He detailed the historical context of Takbeer Day, a commemoration of Pakistan’s declaration as a nuclear power in response to India’s previous tests, which he claimed has restored a balance of power in the region.
Muqdisi called for the government to take definitive actions against banned groups and to fully implement the national action plan to combat terrorism. He stressed the need for a unified stance to support Pakistan’s military in defending against any threats to the country’s security and independence. The leader underscored the importance of nuclear power as both a defensive measure and a symbol of national strength that underpins Pakistan’s geopolitical stance, especially in the face of ongoing tensions with India and its purported attempts to undermine Pakistani security.
