Rawalpindi, The birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) is being celebrated across the country today with great religious fervor, devotion, and respect. The day, marked by the Hafta Wilay Muhammad wa All Muhammad Committee under the guidance of Quaid Millat-i Jafariya Aghasid Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, will see electronic media giving prominent coverage to the programs dedicated to Hussain Day.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Shaukat Abbas Jafari, the central convener, addressed the meeting on the occasion, highlighting the comprehensive arrangements made for the celebration. The day will be observed with Quran recitations, Milad meetings, conferences, and seminars under the auspices of the TNFJ week, All Muhammad (AS) committees, and other religious organizations nationwide. Scholars, preachers, and qasida khawan will pay homage to Imam Hussain’s (AS) legacy, emphasizing solidarity with the oppressed and denouncing oppressors. Special prayers for Pakistan’s safety and stability will also be a key feature of the celebrations. Jafari praised Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) for his supreme sacrifice in Karbala, teaching humanity the essence of living and dying with dignity, and upholding religious values and human honor. He called for widespread recognition of Imam Hussain’s (AS) sacrifices for the survival of religion and highlighted the significance of Wilayat the love for God’s friends as a fundamental principle of religion and Shariah, contributing to the perfection of humanity.
