Lahore, Punjab University’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood has praised the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) students for using their artwork to address various societal issues, during the opening ceremony of their thesis exhibition. The event, organized by the Punjab University College of Art and Design, showcased the creative efforts of students from the Fine Arts Department and the Graphic Arts Department.
According to University of The Punjab, the exhibition featured a wide range of artworks that reflected the individual concerns and societal problems through the lens of the university’s talented students. The ceremony was attended by Principal College of Art and Design Dr Sumera Jawad, Chairperson of Fine Arts Department Dr Samina Naseem, Chairman of Graphics Art Department Atif Aamir, alongside faculty members and students. Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, along with other attendees, commended the students for their insightful and creative masterpieces that brought attention to pressing social issues.
