According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Senator Rehman emphasized the baselessness of the rumors, stating, “There is no truth to the rumors circulating on various media forums regarding the appointment of Governors by the PPP.” She further reassured the public and party supporters that the selection process for the vital positions of Governors in the provinces would be thoroughly overseen by PPP President Asif Ali Zardari, following his assumption of the Presidency.
