Karachi, The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi has announced its candidates for the Senate, with Deputy Secretary Information of People’s Party Karachi and Convenor East District Asif Khan expressing strong support for the nominees. Asif Khan congratulated General Secretary of People’s Party Sindh Waqar Mehdi and Aziz Dhamra, highlighting their commitment to representing and addressing the issues of Sindh, including Karachi, in the Senate.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Asif Khan shared his remarks following the submission of nomination papers to the Sindh Election Commission. He emphasized that Waqar Mehdi and Aziz Dhamra’s election as senators would ensure that the concerns of Sindh are effectively voiced in the Houses. Specifically, Khan noted that Mehdi is expected to be a prominent advocate for Karachi, bringing attention to the city’s challenges at the national level.
