Pakistan to Host ODI Tri-Series in 2025 After Two-Decade Hiatus

Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to revive a major cricketing event by hosting an ODI Tri-series in February 2025, featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa. This development follows a significant meeting between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and his counterparts from Cricket South Africa and New Zealand Cricket.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the Tri-series is scheduled to precede the ICC Champions Trophy, offering the teams a competitive edge before the major tournament. The return of such a series to Pakistani soil is a celebrated moment for the host country, as it reflects growing confidence from international cricket bodies. The last tri-series hosted by Pakistan took place in October 2004.
