Pakistan Set for White-Ball Tour of Australia in November

Lahore, Pakistan’s cricket team is slated to embark on a white-ball series in Australia coming November, as announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board. This series will inaugurate Australia’s 2024-25 summer of white-ball cricket, featuring three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) across various renowned venues.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the tour will kick off with the three-match Dettol Men’s ODI series at Melbourne Cricket Ground on the 4th of November, followed by games in Adelaide and Perth. It marks Pakistan’s first ODI series in Australia since their 2016 encounter, where Australia emerged victorious.

Following the ODIs, both teams will contest in the Dettol Men’s T20I Series, commencing at The Gabba in Brisbane. Pakistan’s last T20I visit to Australia was notably successful, culminating in a final appearance at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2022.

The T20I leg of the tour will proceed to Sydney, where Pakistan previously secured a win against New Zealand in the World Cup semi-final, and will conclude in Hobart on the 18th of November.

This tour not only provides an exciting cricketing prospect for fans but also serves as a significant contest for both teams in preparation for future global tournaments.
