Karachi, In a thrilling continuation of the Inter-College Ramadan T-20 Cup, two matches showcased the emerging cricket talent among colleges, with Government College 36B and Jinnah College securing victories in their respective games. The night cricket matches, part of a series organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board and managed by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi, saw exceptional performances that highlighted the competitive spirit and skills of the young cricketers.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the first match at the IBA Karachi University ground witnessed Government College 36B Landhi overcoming The City School by a margin of 14 runs. Batting first, Government College 36B Landhi posted a score of 134 runs for 7 wickets, thanks to notable contributions from Mohammad Shah Mir Khan, who scored 40 runs, and Abdullah, who added 32 runs to the total. The City School, in their chase, managed to score 117 runs for 6 wickets, with Mohammad Ibrahim and Hamza Qureshi scoring 41 and 33 runs, respectively. Saifullah Khan and Haris Farhan each took 2 wickets for Government College 36B Landhi. Mohammad Shah Mir Khan’s performance earned him the player of the match award, presented by former Test cricketer Sadiq Mohammad.

The second match, played at Eid Gah Ground Nazimabad, saw a dominant display by Government Jinnah College, who defeated Government Delhi College by 10 wickets in a remarkable show of efficiency. Government Delhi College was bowled out for just 28 runs, with Naeem Gul taking 5 wickets for 10 runs and Abdullah Ashfaq securing 4 wickets without conceding any runs. In a swift response, Government Jinnah College reached the target of 31 runs without losing any wickets, with Muhammad Rizwan scoring an unbeaten 22 runs to steer his team to victory.
