Lahore, In a significant development for sports in Pakistan, the Pakistan Federation Baseball successfully conducted its Elective General Council Meeting on February 28th at Dera Restaurant, Lahore. The meeting, under the leadership of Federation President Shaukat Javed, saw the election of new members who will steer the federation for the next four years. The elections were highlighted by the reappointment of President Shaukat Javed and Secretary General Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, alongside other key positions within the federation.

According to Pakistan Federation Baseball, the election witnessed enthusiastic participation from Provincial Baseball Associations and various federation wings, ensuring a transparent and democratic process. The elected leadership includes Sr. Vice President Muhammad Hamood Lakhvi, Vice Presidents Arif Shahzad, Ayaz Khan, Haider Khan Lehri, and Muhammad Jamil Kamran, with Tahir Mehmood as Treasurer. Members at Large are Shah Manzar Farid, Musdiq Hanif, and Tariq Nadeem. Special roles were assigned to Mr. Moazzam Khan Klair as Executive Director and Sheikh Mazhar as Media Director, enhancing the federation’s operational and promotional capabilities.

The event also celebrated the election of Shah Manzar Farid as Chairman of Baseball 5 and Mohsin Khan as Chairman of the Selection Committee, positions crucial for the sport’s development at the grassroots and competitive levels. The presence of Mr. Arshad Sattar from the Pakistan Olympic Association underscored the significance of the meeting and the broader sports community’s support for baseball in Pakistan.
