Nearly 3 in 5 (63%) Pakistanis believe the economic situation of the country has worsened compared to the previous 6 months: Consumer Confidence Index Q4 2021 by Gallup Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet 

Islamabad, April 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, nearly 3 in 5 (63%) Pakistanis believe the economic situation of the country has worsened compared to the previous 6 months.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “In your opinion, compared to the previous six months, how is the economic situation of the country today?” In response to this question, 1% much better, 18% said better, 14% said same as before, 39% said worse, 24% said much worse, and 4% didn’t know or gave no response.

Question: “In your opinion, compared to the previous six months, how is the economic situation of the country today?”
