Nearly 1 in 4 Pakistanis (26%) believe that if a family in their neighbourhood locks their home and moves away, an incident is very likely to occur there: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, September 29, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, nearly 1 in 4 Pakistanis (26%) believe that if a family in their neighbourhood locks their home and moves away, an incident is very likely to occur there.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “If a family in your neighbourhood locks their home and moves away, what is the probability of an incident occurring in that home?” In response to this question, 26% said very likely, 30% said somewhat likely, 41% said somewhat unlikely and 3% did not know/did not respond.

Question: “If a family in your neighbourhood locks their home and moves away, what is the probability of an incident occurring in that home?”
