Islamabad, November 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the struggle of the Pakistan People’s Party for 55 years is close to fruition, the supremacy of the constitution in the country, democracy is strong and after the upcoming general elections, the four provinces including the federation I will have public rule.
In his message issued on the 55th foundation day of Pakistan People’s Party, the party chairman said that his party is the only political party in the country which has its roots in the people. He said that Pakistan People’s Party faced the most difficult situations with courage and bravery and provided leadership to the country and the nation during the trying and difficult situations.
He further said that Pakistan People’s Party is the pioneer of democracy, human rights and equality, making the supremacy of the constitution and parliament inviolable is our mission and equality and prosperity of the people is our motto.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that living nations critically evaluate their past and present. We also have to learn from our mistakes as a party, state and nation at our own level. He emphasized that this writing is on the wall that the country needs democratic governments in the future not selected but elected. He said that this country, its constitution and democracy are the dearest to the leadership and workers of Pakistan People’s Party.
He further said that his party is strictly committed to the philosophy and manifesto of its founder that Islam is our religion, socialism is our economy, democracy is our politics and the source of power is the people. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that today every citizen must take a pledge that in the light of Bhutto’s thought, the country will be empowered and empowered by the right of sovereignty of the people, the freedom of women, inclusion of minorities in the national stream, and empowerment of democratic institutions will continue the struggle to make a welfare and strong democratic state.
The PPP Chairman reiterated his resolve that his party would continue to defeat every attack on the 1973 Constitution of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, as this Constitution guarantees the civil rights and freedoms of 23 crore Pakistanis. And it is the basis of national harmony and unity.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has paid tribute to the party leaders Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Begum Nusrat Bhutto and Shaheed Ms. Benazir Bhutto for their great struggle and eternal sacrifices. The PPP Chairman paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the party’s 55-year struggle, and saluted the leaders and workers who endured the hardships of exile and imprisonment.
