Medical Lab Professionals Week Celebrated with Cake-Cutting Ceremony at Jamia Poonch

Rawalakot, A special event was held at the University of Poonch to commemorate “Medical Lab Professionals Week,” with a cake-cutting ceremony marking the occasion. The event, organized by the Department of Medical Lab Technology within the Faculty of Medical Health Sciences, featured Dean of Faculty Professor Dr. Abdul Khaliq and Department Chairman Dr. Muhammad Usman.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, Dr. Muhammad Usman spoke about the crucial role that medical lab technology plays in the healthcare sector, emphasizing that therapy and treatment rely heavily on technologists’ skills and coordination. He stated that the health sector is incomplete without paramedics and that correct diagnosis and disease treatment depend on skilled technologists. He also noted that effective healthcare is achieved through the collaboration between physicians and paramedics, urging students to excel in their field.

Dr. Usman highlighted the importance of students mastering the coordination of services within the health sector, emphasizing that it is an essential responsibility. He encouraged students to draw on the expertise of other professionals, including their teachers at the University of Poonch, to build their skill set and be successful in their careers.
