Match Officials Announced for Upcoming Pakistan vs New Zealand T20I Series


Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the list of match officials for the forthcoming five-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand. The series is scheduled to take place from April 18 to April 27, with matches in Rawalpindi and Lahore. Veteran match referee Andy Pycroft and a team of experienced umpires will oversee the games.



According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Andy Pycroft, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will head the playing control team. The umpiring team will consist of Ahsan Raza, who is also on the elite panel, and Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, and Rashid Riaz, all from the ICC’s international panel. This experienced team will handle the officiating duties across all venues.



The series will kick off at Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi with the first three T20Is on April 18, 20, and 21. The action will then shift to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for the final two matches on April 25 and 27. The appointments for the first match include Ahsan Raza and Aleem Dar as on-field umpires, with Faisal Afridi serving as the third umpire and Rashid Riaz as the fourth umpire, under the supervision of Andy Pycroft as match referee.
