Bahawalpur, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has entered into a significant partnership with Adam Lab and Diagnostic Centre, aiming to improve medical services for its staff. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in a ceremony attended by prominent representatives from both institutions.
According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor of IUB, Dr. Muhammad Usman Cheema, Chief Medical Officer, and Fayyaz Ahmed, CEO/Director Operations of Adam Lab Diagnostic Center. The agreement outlines that Adam Lab and Diagnostic Center will provide medical laboratory services and advanced diagnostic facilities at IUB.
This collaboration is also set to support Adam Lab’s philanthropic projects, reflecting a commitment to social responsibility. Both parties have agreed to fully implement the terms of the agreement, which includes a substantial 35% discount on all medical services for IUB’s staff, encompassing teaching and non-teaching personnel and other employees.
Moreover, a full discount will be available to needy and deserving employees, based on the recommendations of the Medical Committee at IUB. This initiative is a significant step towards ensuring better healthcare facilities for the university community and reflects the institution’s commitment to the welfare of its staff.
The partnership between IUB and Adam Lab and Diagnostic Centre is a testament to the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life and services available to its employees, contributing to a healthier and more supportive academic environment.
