IoBM Awards Meritorious Students with President’s Merit Scholarships


Karachi, The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) celebrated the achievements of its students on Wednesday by awarding the President’s Merit Scholarship for the academic year 2022-23 to nineteen outstanding students. The ceremony, attended by students, their proud parents, and IoBM’s top management, highlighted the institution’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing exceptional talent.



According to Institute of Business Management, the event was graced by the presence of IoBM’s Chancellor, Mr. Bashir Janmohammad; President, Mr. Talib S. Karim; Vice President, Ms. Sabina Mohsin; and deans and heads of various departments, underlining the importance of academic excellence within the institution’s culture. The ceremony was meticulously organized under the leadership of Ms. Sabina Mohsin, with essential support from the Admissions and Financial Assistance and Scholarship Departments.



In his address, Mr. Talib Karim emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of learning and professionalism among students, noting the significant presence of female achievers among the scholarship recipients. Mr. Bashir Janmohammad praised the efforts of the students’ parents and encouraged the awardees to aim for becoming job creators in their future careers, highlighting the virtues of punctuality, honesty, and rule adherence.



The scholarship recipients, including Parveen Shah, a BBA (Honors) student who received the scholarship for the fourth consecutive time, and Madiha Zehra, awarded for the third time, were recognized for their academic achievements across various disciplines. The ceremony also featured the unveiling of a plaque listing the names of the meritorious students, cementing their legacy within the IoBM community.
