According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the decision for the temporary closure has been approved by the President of IIUI, Saqib Rashid, the Deputy Director of Human Resource Management-I. The order, dated January 22, 2024, mandates the dissemination of this information through the university’s website and electronic systems, ensuring that all stakeholders, including Vice-Presidents, Deans, Directors, and faculty, are informed promptly.
The university’s security consultant and Chief Security Officer are among the key personnel included in the distribution list, highlighting the importance of the security situation that has led to this decision. Additionally, the order has been carbon copied to the Special Secretary to the Rector and the President of IIUI, further indicating the high level of coordination required in this matter.
