International Al-Quds Day Marked with Rallies and Prayers in Pakistan

Rawalpindi, In Pakistan, International Al-Quds Day was observed with a series of rallies and prayers, as called by the Tehreek Nafaze Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ), to express solidarity with the oppressed globally and to denounce tyranny, particularly in Palestine and Kashmir.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the day, initiated by Quaid Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, saw peaceful protests in major cities including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, aligning with the last Friday of Ramadan, known as Juma Al-Wida. Shaukat Abbas Jafari, the convener of TNFJ, emphasized the importance of Muslim unity against oppression, advocating for peace and harmony as core Islamic values. The day’s activities involved mosque imams and community leaders advocating for the oppressed in sermons, followed by organized rallies.

In Islamabad, a significant rally was scheduled at Abpara Chowk, while in Rawalpindi, Imam Bargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohalla hosted a protest post-Friday prayers. These events united leaders from various schools of thought and political spectrums, emphasizing the collective call for the liberation of Al-Quds Sharif, support for the Palestinian and Kashmiri people, and the global fight against terrorism.
